With improved lighting and shadowing, Ragnarok has never looked so good! The PC version also brings all-new graphical features such as screen space ambient occlusion. Viking: Battle For Asgard™ also supports gamepad play, and includes fully-remapped keyboard-and-mouse controls for PC gamers. Players can scale the resolution, anti-aliasing and other graphical effects according to the power of their PCs for a truly stunning graphical experience. The PC version will re-invigorate the game for 2012 with outstanding visuals that take full advantage of modern gaming hardware. Viking: Battle for Asgard is known for its enormous, free-roaming environments and apocalyptic battles between thousands of stalwart Viking troops and murderous demons. In any event, the game's here (again) and here's what you can expect to see should you grab it for your very own: Still, why Sega would seemingly pick Viking out of thin air and relaunch it (to whatever degree) is a little bit of a mystery. At least, I can't think of any off the top of my head. I don't think there are any other games on the market that actually feature norsemen. Honestly it's also a pretty fun time (though the later levels are BRUTAL) and is kind of unique in a way. The game is a straightforward affair and features brawling with demons across a free-roaming landscape that's awash in Viking and norse imagery. Not exactly a huge hit when it originally debuted on the Xbox 360 and PS3 four years ago, Viking nonetheless was a pretty fun time. Sega is bringing a refreshed version of it's 2008 hack'n'slash Viking: Battle for Asgard to the PC.
